I can see the finish line!!

Wow! I can't believe we are in June already and we can expect to see Payton at any giving time now, how crazy is that?! I'm ecstatic that this whole pregnancy kick is closing in, I H.A.T.E. being pregnant, we've had it rough from day one!
I started getting really sick, I couldn't stand to smell anything cooking, I couldn't eat without throwing it back up, I would throw up like clockwork in the mornings, SO Justin and I decided that I was more than likely pregnant and we should make a doctors appointment. Turns out, I was 4 weeks in! It wasn't bad news at all for us, although young we wanted to start a family and be young parents - we both have good heads on our shoulders and we were ready!... or so we thought! I didn't have the "typical" pregnancy. I lost 51 lbs in my first two trimesters from being so sick, sick so much they actually started worrying about Payton! Finally during my third trimester I started picking up weight and getting us both healthy again. We have had problems from sickness to her trying to come to early three times! Why couldn't I have been normal? Anyway, now that we are in June I'm ecstatic! I want her out! NOW! I can't wait to meet our little Payton, to see what she really looks like, what habits she takes after me and which ones after Justin. I can't wait just to watch her sleep, and make the cute baby faces! I can't wait to breathe the sigh of long waited relief that everything is O.K. I'll be more than happy to wake up millions of times at night to feed her, change her, love on her anything she needs. I don't understand why people complain about that, I'm excited to be awoken by her needing me. I can't wait for everyone to come see her and love on her and give her all the attention they have been waiting to give her for a whole 9 months now! I'm not excited about the "baby blues" I keep hearing about, I think I've started early! Sometimes I'll sit and just think about her and how important to her that I am. Sometimes I'll end up in tears, well most of the time but it's not because I'm sad.. I'm happy, over joyed and still can't believe she's mine. I'm so blessed to have a wonderful family, husband and now daughter! God has blessed me more than I'll ever deserve. I hope I don't get the blues after she is born, hopefully I'll just have those pre-Payton. I love her so much already! I can't wait to kiss her and let her know she IS my life and will always be. I hope she picks a birthday here soon! =)

Penpal Stuffff =)

I'm Angela Norman, maiden name Hoyle. I live in the type of small town if you don't know what you're doing someone else does, in North Carolina. When I was younger I use to say I can't wait to get out of NC.. I moved 45 minutes away from my parents, talk to them more than one time a day, and wished I lived closer. I'm married to Justin Norman! He's a wonderful husband and the best friend that I've never had! He's a Deputy Sheriff, in this town they either love em' or hate em' there isn't really an in between. I'm sure he's one of the more hated cops, he takes pride in his job and does it well, I couldn't be more proud of anyone!! We are still "newlyweds" I guess.. September 25th 2010 was our big day & it couldn't have been more perfect! Our engagement wasn't really a surprise for me, I knew it was coming. One day we were talking about marriage and both agreed that we could get married, be happy and not kill each other! I went with him and picked out my ring, then it was up to him from that point on. We had to get the ring sized so it was like 10 weeks of torture for me!! One night he came over to my parents house & asked my dad if he could marry me.. they had "the talk" outside on the sidewalk with my dads dog Rowdy, they were both scared and nervous to talk to each other on the subject haha. Of course my dad said yes, so later that night when I was sleeping he put my ring on my finger! It was more gorgeous than I imagined, I was so happy! ...Wow, talk about getting off track .. Anyway!!; Needless to say you can tell my husband is my best friend, we spend all of our time together, or with our families. We go to an amazing church, we were both raised in church, we both got out of it for a short period of time, like most "kids" would do, but very glad we are back in the scene! God is the most important in our lives, without him we would have nothing! I love going to church, it's one of my favorite things to do!! I'm glad I can say that and be so young, it's not a response you'd expect from someone my age. I by any means don't think I'm perfect, I do and say things I shouldn't do, we all do.. we just have to strive not to, pray and repent. I guess one of my biggest downfalls is tattoos! I have around 10 or 11, I don't know why but I LOVE them. I personally don't think they are painful at all, it relieves my stress. Luckily I'm broke or I'd have a lot more than I do! We have a black lab mix puppy, he's about 5 months old. He's my baby, I spoil him! I love him so much, and he's just a dog! Crazy? His name is Sampson Barnabas Norman, but we call him Sam. He loves to play in the creek or in the water hose with his BFF Brownie, the neighbors Chocolate Lab.
I'm pregnant! We are expecting our first daughter June 28th 2011!! (Yes she was a honeymoon baby! Not that you all want to know or care but we waited until marriage to well I'll just say it have sex. (no one really likes saying that word huh? I felt bad just typing it haha) I'm proud of that! ) Anyway, we are naming her Payton Ruth Norman. She's going to be the most beautiful little person I've ever laid my eyes on, I know it!! I can't wait to finally meet her! I thank God for her everyday, she's already so spoiled and isn't even here!!

Southern Hospitality

My grandmother is the definition of a "steel magnolia" to me a steel magnolia is a lady who is sweet, gentle and kind.. yet strong and resilient all at the same time. A steel magnolia's beauty comes from within which serves to enhance her physical appearance. This combination in a woman makes her one of God's most lovely and endearing creatures on earth. My grandmother is one of the strongest women i know. She has stayed loyal and loved the love of her life for 50 years, always taking care of him and always by his side no matter what. She takes care of her mother, and her brother, letting them both live with her in their time of need. My grandmother is the strongest woman i know. Not once have i ever seen her let out and cry. She is the one person you can count on in a bad situation, she is the person you can lean on and she will lift you back up. I'm proud to say that Beulah Phillips is my grandmother, i see alot of her in myself. I wish to one day have the courage and the strength that my grandmother shows, to be as loyal as she is to the ones she loves, and to be willing to help and give my all to my family.
